MSW exists to use innovation to make a kingdom difference
We live in a world often marked by hurt, disappointment, and longing for hope. We believe God has called His people to be a light in that darkness, and that arts, creativity, innovation, and leadership development, when built on the foundation of the gospel, can shape culture for good.
Music Serving the Word, through the Center, the Incubator, and programs, exists for this purpose, forming leaders and creators who use innovation to serve the Word, point people to Christ, and bring glory to God.

A heart for jazz music led to a kingdom vision
For years, our founder Bob Ravenscroft has called musicians to use their gifts in service of God’s Word, whether playing hymns in sacred spaces or improvisational jazz in a nightclub. This led Bob to a significant question:
“What if the fruit of the gospel could multiply as leaders courageously bring faith, the arts, innovation, and purpose together for the good of the world?”
This question became the beginning of an extraordinary journey, one that now holds the potential to truly impact the world.
